LEARNING COMPLEX PLANE TRANSFORMATIONS USING A HISTORICAL CONTEXT MEDIATED BY ICT

This study focuses on studying and investigating the learning outcomes of tenth-grade students regarding transformations in complex plane. It does so by incorporating a historical context using information communication ICT. To assess impact ICT, specifically GeoGebra software, students’ understanding conceptualization plane transformations, this employs didactic engineering methodology Duval's Theory Semiotic Representations. The hypothesis states that implementing situations mediated ICT can lead to positive among students. research contributes integration into secondary-level mathematics education while encouraging curricular methodological innovation aligns with educational guidelines standards. By leveraging technology, particularly GeoGebra, process is supported, emphasizing spatial thinking geometric systems. identifies common challenges face when working numbers underscores importance graphical representations conversion between different registers. Ultimately, findings shed light potential enhancing fostering their transformations.
